Magrit is an intentionally simple application designed for teaching and learning cartography. It lets you import your own geospatial datasets and render and combine a wide variety of maps.
Cartography
- The Americana is a digital map style containing concurrent, state-specific highway shields arranged along the path of road. It supports displaying shields for many countries all over the world.
- tmap is an open-source R package for drawing thematic maps. The API is based on A Layered Grammar of Graphics and resembles the syntax of ggplot2, a popular R package for drawing charts.
